The right time to use an EGL Big Boy™ is any time you can avoid using two shorter lamps of equal length. By reducing the number of lamp ends (lumen loss) more light per-foot is achieved without unsightly center raceway shadows and with reduced labor and material costs: fewer ballasts, fewer sockets, and much less wiring.

Standard Convenience
Use EGL Big Boys as you would any other straight high-output lamp. All sign ballast makers supply ballasts that carry up to four lamps, 9, 9-3/4, or 10 feet.
Standard colors: Coolwhite and Daylight - 3 sizes in T12 diameter: F108, F117, F120.
